Blackwell Data Center - Mission Critical
This Confidential Data Center, with a critical IT load of 100 MW was an ambitious undertaking that involved the development of a state-of-the-art facility requiring a high standard of construction precision and efficiency. Martin Concrete was engaged to handle the entirety of the tilt-up construction for this project, demonstrating our expertise and capability in managing large-scale and complex concrete panel installations for the mission critical market.
Project Highlights
The project’s scope included the forming, placing, finishing, and erecting of 124 concrete wall panels ranging from 10″ to 11.25″ inches thick, with a total surface area of 106,804 square feet (SF). The design and composition of the panels for the Blackwell Data Center included 2″ inches of Thermomass insulation within each concrete panel.
The use of insulation for the panel construction required the use of panel connectors which were installed through pre-determined holes in the insulation.
